ITS vs GP Noble Trustees Ltd and Others
In July 2008, ITS was appointed to 29 pension schemes at short notice by the Pensions Regulator. Across 9 of those schemes, it was determined that assets totalling £52m were missing, and ITS acting as Trustee of those schemes bought a civil case against GP Noble Trustees Ltd and 26 other parties for recovery of some of the missing assets.
This case has recently been heard by Mr Justice Peter Smith in the High Court, with the outcome that £32m of assets have been recovered, which is very positive news. ITS will be writing to members of these 9 schemes shortly with further information in this regard.

Independent Trustee Services Ltd is a Trustee Director of Visteon UK Pension Trustees Ltd, the corporate trustee of the Visteon UK Pension Plan.
Following inaccuracies in its front page article in the 19th April edition entitled "Crucial facts of Visteon case emerge", Pensions Week has published a Correction about the activities of the Trustee and Independent Trustee Services Ltd.
